The new HTC Wildfire S is a refresh of the original Wildfire. It has the same 3.2" HVGA 480x320 display, and packs a 600MHz CPU with 512MB of RAM and ROM. After spending some time with the device, we think it's just your typical, low-end, budget Android smartphone from HTC. Apart from the fact that we've spotted the device in an early HTC ad, there's nothing realy huge to it, especially if we talk about the 600MHz processor. Even so, it seems to operate rather well, fluid experience, good build quality and there will be several colors available so everyone might find the one appealing to him or her. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with the new Sense which should simplify the experience but, as we said, it's just your typical Wildfire Gingerbread edition.
