HTC EVO Shift 4G Hardware TourIn this video we demonstrate the hardware of the HTC EVO Shift 4G operating on Sprint's network. The EVO Shift feels sturdy in hand. The device is adorned with a metallic blue-hued bezel with a rubberized coating on the back and sides to prevent slippage. The four-row keyboard is also decked out with a blue tint. Typing on the device is cumbersome because the keys are so flush. The screen is a 3.6 inch WVGA glass capacitive mulitouch LCD. Powering everything is an 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7630 along with 512MB of RAM and 2GB of ROM. The EVO Shift comes with a 2GB microSD card that is expandable to 32GB. The radios included are CDMA 800 and 1900 bands, Wi-Fi b/g/n, FM receiver, aGPS, and Bluetooth 2.1. The sensors incorporated are an accelerometer, digital compass, proximity, and light sensor. The EVO Shift has a 3.5mm headphone jack and uses a microUSB 2.0 port for both charging and syncing. The camera is a 5MP with an LED flash which is capable of recording 720p video. The battery is a 1500mAh Li-ion.
