You may have heard of Microsoft's "Three Screens and the Cloud" mantra for describing software and services that works on your television, personal computer, and mobile phone; all of which have different screens and different uses. The idea is that the three screens should work better together. Well, we've already started seeing some of this come to fruition with Windows Phone 7. The Zune desktop software will actually remember where you stopped watching a video, or podcast and sync that time code with a Windows Phone 7 that also has that video or podcast in it's storage memory. In other words, you can start watching a movie or a long podcast on your desktop, stop watching it, then sync your Windows Phone 7, and pick up watching the same thing right from where you left off while you're on the train or out and about. Then when you get home, sync the phone back up to Zune and you can continue watching the same video from the spot where you left off on the phone.
