Motorola Pro+ Unboxing & Product Tour
The Motorola Pro+ is a follow up model of the Droid Pro/Motorola Pro which we were not treated to in the UK last time around. So, this is new for me, though many of our US readers will have handled the older device. This time around we get Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread sitting on a 3.1-inch touch screen. Underneath this sits a physical QWERTY keypad, similar to those that BlackBerry users zoom through their texting & emailing tasks. On the inside we are treated to a 1GHz processor and 4GB of onboard storage, with a 5 megapixel camera around the back. Check out the video above for an unboxing & product tour of this business oriented device. Does this mix of physical keys alongside a touch screen really work? Let me know what you think in comments.

Samsung Stratosphere Review Part 1
Samsung Stratosphere Review Part 1 Sydney is back with a full review of the Samsung Stratosphere from Verizon Wireless. With a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, a beautiful Super AMOLED display, and Verizon 4G LTE data, the Stratosphere is hard to miss. The question is, Is the Stratosphere good enough or should you spend the extra money and go for one of Verizon's other Android devices that sport a larger display or a dual-core processor (or both)? After testing out the Stratosphere, it's obvious that it is a great phone. LTE speeds were extremely fast and the processor performed smoothly with minor lag only on occasion. The physical keyboard is one of the best on the market. Similar to the Epic 4G's keyboard, the Stratosphere's QWERTY is spacious and well-designed. It may not be a "superphone", but the Stratosphere is definitely worth a look. Part 1 of 2 Facebook: www.facebook.com Twitter: www.twitter.com Win Free Phones: instantwin.phonedog.com

LG DoublePlay Review Part 1
LG DoublePlay Review Part 1 The DoublePlay is an Android smartphone with an interesting form factor. Similar to the Kyocera Echo on Sprint, the DoublePlay has two touchscreen displays. It is designed this way to supposedly make multi-tasking even easier. What we wanted to know is, Does it actually work? Is this design practical in real-world use? It's surprising how useful this secondary display is. While watching a video on the main display, you can easily read and send text messages on the second display without ever having to stop the video. HTC Radar 4G Unboxing
This is our unboxing video of the T-Mobile HTC Radar 4G. Inside the box, we've got only a MicroUSB cable, and charging adapter... It doesn't even come with headphones but the 3.5mm headset jack should work with whatever you want to plug into it.

T-Mobile HTC Radar 4G Hardware Tour
As what may sound familiar from last year's Windows Phone 7 device specs, the HTC Radar is running a 1Ghz Snapdragon QSD8255 processor with 512 Mb RAM and 8 Gb of storage. The 3.8" Super LCD screen has a 480x800 pixel resolution and 4 point multi-touch. You've also got the usual WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, Assisted GPS, 5Mp camera with LED flash, 0.3 Mp front facing camera, 1520 mAh battery, 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, and a Micro-USB 2.0 port. The device dimensions are 61.5 x 120.5 x 10.9 millimeters, and it weighs 137 grams. By the way, this device does not include a digital compass, so that means certain apps that require that type of hardware will not work (things like augmented reality; the reality scanner feature in Navigon, for example.) Keep an eye out for warnings about hardware features in the Windows Phone Marketplace. For the full review, see: pocketnow.com

Samsung Stratosphere Unboxing
Samsung Stratosphere Unboxing Samsung's product map has been more like an Android assembly line lately, and the Samsung Stratosphere for Verizon Wireless is one of the more recent releases. The Stratosphere is billed as the "first 4G smartphone with a 5-row QWERTY keyboard," which is nothing to hold a parade over. The phone also flashes mid-range specs for this calendar year with a 1GHz Cortex Hummingbird processor, 512MB of RAM, 4-inch Super AMOLED screen and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Is the Samsung Stratosphere merely last year's Epic 4G for this year's Verizon fleet, or does it have what it takes to tango with the Ice Cream Sandwich juggernauts of today? One would assume the former, but check out the full unboxing video to find out. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Mr. Lurie, he was one of the key players involved in brokering the deal between AT&T; and Apple for the first-generation iPhone, negotiating with Steve Jobs for the phone that would one day be the talk of the mobile industry. Jon spoke with Mr. Lurie about such subjects as the history of AT&T; history, the famous deal for the iPhone and even touched on where connectivity will be heading in the future. Not every moment was spent on tech, however, as Jon and Mr. Lurie also discussed the latter's time as a professional soccer player before joining AT&T; in the age of the Motorola DynaTAC phones. Running Gingerbread (Android 2.3.4) with HTC Sense 1.0 for Tablets, the device is very snappy, suffering from only a few Sense crashes here and there. Hopefully an upgrade to Honeycomb, or more likely, Ice Cream Sandwich will allow for additional pen functionality (which is currently very limited). Believe it or not, this is Nikon's third projector cam, and after a full testing phase, I can safely report that the S1200pj features the company's best projector to date. The projector's throw has been increased to 10 ft. (a 3 ft. boost from the S1100pj), the LED light has been upgraded to individual RGB channels (last year's was a single white LED) and the screen size cap has been stretched to 60 in. (last year's was a 47 in. maximum). But the most exciting new feature on the Nikon Coolpix S1200pj is its compatibility with iPhone/iPad/iPod devices. Yes, pictures and videos from any of the aforementioned iDevices can be streamed through the camera's projector via a special included cable. Furthermore, the Nikon Coolpix S1200pj can connect to Mac or Windows computers and project the desktop in real-time, which is ideal for PowerPoint presentations or watching movies on the big screen. The design of the camera was also improved, providing a shield for the projector lens, and the built-in tilt stand was carried over from last year. Couple that with the camera's innate ability to project any pictures or videos located on its SDHC card, and the Nikon Coolpix S1200pj proved itself as the most versatile model in the company's projector cam fleet to date.
